Window/wall units
are the most economic units available. There is no seperate outdoor unit, it
is a 'monobloc' unit. Internally these units simply have a grille and control panel. The unit itself sits through the dwarf
brick wall with about 1/3 of the unit protruding externally. These units are large, heavy and do have slightly higher noise
levels but realistically you get what you pay for!.
Console units stand at floor level a little like a storage heater. As with high wall split systems they
have an indoor and an outdoor unit.

High Wall units are split air conditioning
units ie. there is an indoor section to the system and an outdoor unit. These are connected together with refrigeration copper
and can therefore be some distance apart. The indoor unit is often located above the entrance door into the conservatory,
this allows maximum furniture space. It is controlled by an infra-red remote controller.
Outdoor Condensing units for split systems, the outdoor
unit can be positioned in a discreet space as long as there is sufficient space for correct air flow.
